1. Bill Clinton....

would not have gotten elected the first time if there were high profile dems like him getting alot of TV attention saying such nice things about the repub candidate for prez. He would have been a nothing, gone back to Arkansas, and never to be heard from again.

But I remember clearly that at the time (in 1992) there were high profile dems out there on TV fighting their asses off for him, never giving the opponent an inch. Defending him to the very end.
