Comedy Central has Suspended Broadcasting because of McCain's request of no humor

They have agreed that instead of comedy shows they will now
play continuous tapes of John McCain speeches Ad nauseam

1. But that would mean they are still playing comedy.

3. I can't wait to see what TDS and Colbert do with this statement...
I so hope they've picked up on it - it's just too perfect.

5. That idea of skipping out on Dave, is turning out to be a big mistake..
Every time I check Google News, there are twice a many stories of Letterman unloading on McCain. First there were 100 stories, then 200, now 414!

This should help his poll numbers. Not!

6. On a previous show...
Jon has about 20 clips of McCain answering "I don't know" to a question. He should play those...and the ones where he says he knows very little about the economy. Then there's the Chechoslavakia, Iraq/Pakistan border, Sunni/Shi'ia confusion, Palin can see Russia, etc. Could be very entertaining.

11. He went on Letteman's show right after 9/11
He talked about the anthrax attacks and accused Iraq of being responsible. There was no humor at all in that segment. McCain knows Letterman to well to even think this lie would be believed. He could have appeared on the show and told him he wanted to be serious.
