Palin to Couric: "I'll try to find some, and I'll bring 'em to ya."
...after Couric repeatedly asked Palin for specific examples where McCain has championed for regulation and not deregulation, as evidenced by his history.

This exchange occurs at 5:23 on this 5:35 video.

Not only is Palin's answer dripping with condescension, but her inane, scripted and repetitive answers to serious questions about McCain's campaign manager Rick Davis' payments from Freddie Mack as a conflict of interest; whether we are facing another Great Depression; to explain why she states that Americans are looking first to McCain for answers on the economic meltdown before acting (and NOT looking first to Obama)---- as Palin licks her forefinger and waves it in the air to *illustrate* her opinion of how Obama is *testing the wind* before deciding how to handle it... testing the wind.

I lost it when I saw that vicious smear from this contemptible, abusive creature, posing as an American. It occurs in the video at 2:02

John McCain and Sarah Palin: America's Curse

1. Please don't excuse me of being a snob, but
I can not bear the way this woman speaks. She speaks like a very ignorant and poorly educated person. Not everyone is going to speak with great eloquence, but leaders of nations should be well spoken.

3. Unfortunately, Bush has lowered the bar
to the point where just sounding like a candidate may have made it through the 8th grade is probably now quite acceptable to a large percentage of the population.

And and I don't mean this in a cruel way, but at this rate, little Trig may grow up to be president. Seriously.

4. Lowering the bar
It used to be that an interview with easy questions that could be hit out of the park were described as "softballs". I think Palin qualified this one as a "T-ball" interview. I'm still wondering if Mommy or Daddy was helping her to hold the bat as well.

6. I kept remembering when Katie C was the bouncy, cheerleader-type, going onto the evening news w/
that whopsided-allover-her-face grin. And to be paid multimillions to READ a friggin' teleprompter?!? Whether they know world events or diddly-squat, I still expect my "news" to be delivered by someone who at least appears and sounds intelligent, neither of which Sarah Sasquatch-Snake-Handler-Palin does.

Palin may be a wonderful, warm, fun person in reality, but she does not possess what is NECESSARY to REPRESENT the US to the rest of the world--unless our country now is totally overrun by blithering idiots! She reminds me of the old Debbie Reynolds movies--country girl in jeans with her country-demeanor and way of expressing herself, headed to the big city--and totally out of her element.

I felt the same way about katie couric when she headed over to the evening news - she did not possess the demeanor to present evening news, imo.

So, as I sat there and watched the exchange, I had to wonder what was going through Katie's head. I still do. Katie looks tired--too tired to even give a damn.

7. Andrea Mitchell just played that clip to (?) Rethug supporter and asked
if she could answer the questions. R supporter mentioned something about Indians and one other thing I cant recall lol.

So Andrea said to her that perhaps she (R supporter) should be Mccain's VP.

R supporter said (paraphrasing) She loves Sarah Palin and perhaps she should change her name :puke:

Andrea said - No, you might want to wait to do that.

9. Gov. Palin needs to be Impeached, now!!!

At the very least, Alaskans need to mount a Recall Petition & & toss her out. She is corrupt & inept. The vetting process of her becoming Gov. must have been almost non existent.

10. I just about lost it when she did that.
She needs to get back to her mean-girl high school clique, where she obviously belongs.
