1. Gallup is very volatile. They seem to be the least stable polling outfit |

even less stable than Zogby. Rasmussen is more in tune with RNC and still Obama leads by 3 points. McCain is afraid that he will be destroyed in his debate with Obama (foreign policy, supposedly his strong suit) and that is why we see the charade of "suspending" his campaign. The debate will go on and Obama will clear the threshold of CIC and when Biden mops up the floor with Failin we'll be set up for the economy debate which should give the edge to Obama.
