Yep. All the expectations are on Mccain for this debate. Nice to be on the side that doesn't need a debate game changer for once. This is Mccain's last chance to avoid doom.

Mr. Obama has more recent debate experience, and he's wise to have spent three days in Florida resting. Mr. McCain, by contrast, has campaigned with little rest and rehearsal. This is dangerous. Mood and countenance matter as much as command of issues.

A debate tie goes to the frontrunner. With that now being Mr. Obama by a slim margin, Mr. McCain must emerge the clear winner, or his prospects of being the next president will dim.

Mr. Rove is a former senior adviser and deputy chief of staff to President George W. Bush.

Just passing this on because it's so nice to see even GOPers anticipating doom.

1. Nice spin, Karl.
A bit obvious, really, but then all of his tricks are a bit obvious.

Tinfoilers who think he's a political mastermind have not really confronted the Rove who lives in the real universe.

2. Good ole Rove, lowering expectations for his candidate.

McCain was tired; he didn't have a chance to practice. Isn't it amazing how well he did under those circumstances? :eyes:
