Third straight day of good news on state polls PA/MI/NH/NY
http://www.nationaljournal.com/njmagazine/pi_20080927_1179.php

This right wing Allstate Poll shows

Obama McCain

Michigan 47 39

New Hampshire 44 43

Pennsylvania 43 41

The Survey USA Poll

Pennsylvania 50 44

New York 57 38

Obama holds 86% of Liberals, but Obama is positioned to capture PA's 21 vital Electoral Votes on the backs of Moderates, among whom he leads by 22 points today.
There is much meat on the bone: McCain leads in West Central PA, which includes Johnstown, and in South Central PA, which includes Harrisburg. Obama leads in Southeastern PA, which includes Philadelphia, and Southwestern PA, which includes Pittsburgh. The candidates are effectively tied in Northeastern PA, which includes Scranton, birthplace of Joe Biden, and as much as any town in America, is the epicenter of the entire national campaign.

1. I had to drive through part of rural Northeast PA last weekend

and I saw similar #s of Obama and McCain yard signs, but both there and even more so in Southern Tier NY, I saw many cases of GOP signs for other races (county, state leg., House) without McCain signs.

3. Looks good, but I want those NH numbers up!
NH is going to be critical in a squeaker, which is what we have to be prepared for. I want to put NH in the bank.
