WTF is wrong with this man? Seriously, he fucks up the deal so he can be a part of the deal?

The Demctrats should just throw in the towel now and say, "okay, we had a deal, now we have no deal so there will be no bailout. Seeya later."

1. Desperation
will make a lot of people do really weird things, when they are megalomaniacs and are trying to rescue a failing campaign I'm not the least bit surprised to see anything.

McCain's campaign it starting to resemble a highway accident, you know you don't want to see it but you just can't help taking a look.

5. The Republicans are going to blow up Washington.
They are not going to vote on this and they will put the entire debacle on the shoulders of the Democrats. We will end up looking like fools. I don't like the way this thing smells at all. The public is against a bailout and now Repukes are acting like they are against it too.

12. The public was against Paulson's deal
That's why the dems got the concessions. This thing with mccain is just showboating. He wants the credit for swooping in and saving the day.

11. It was going to be solved in time for the friday debate.
So McCain had to swoop in and fuck it up. Simple as that. Boehner got him out of debating.

13. Exactly. This going through would have screwed with his entire plan.
This was his only chance.
