Congressional Dems should wait until Friday night to bring a bailout roll call to the floor. |
|
Let McCain be in limbo for the next 27-28 hours, and then pass the legislation on Friday night within 1-2 hours of the debate.
That way, McCain will not go to the debate, he'll look like a fool for not doing so, and Obama will have 2 hours of free media as a conducts his very own town hall event with the University of Mississippi crowd.

2. Obama needs to be there to vote on the bailout. |
|
They might have the House vote first on Friday and the Senate doing so Saturday. Bush can then sign it Saturday night or Sunday, before the markets open on Monday.

5. No...Saturday would be more like it... |
|
That way Barrack would have the stage Friday at Ole Miss to himself...and McCain would look like a DOUBLE fool for trying to hold up a bailout deal vote just to make himself look good, while he chickened out on the debate at the same time. If we're going to score here, let's score BIG!:D

12. There will be no reschedule. |

The VP debate will go on at the exact same date it has always been scheduled for.
You can't reschedule debates.
