RUN FAST Dems, it is a setup, a trap by the McSame and the GOP!
Many sources have announced that a deal has been done!

Few minutes ago, Barney Frank gave a 2 or 3 minute interview on CNBC. Bottom line is: the pukes are lying and playing a game!

He said republican congressman Baccus was in the room doing the talking for the pukes...All agreed on everything, he said there are no more questions....etc.

After the meeting Baccus announced there a couple of IMPORTANT issue still pending!!! Something about getting a call from the McCain campaign, Frank was very pissed.

He did not know the details and had to run.

After that some punk republican congressman gave an interview, he said that Frank was being too optimistic...etc.

They are for sure lining things up nicely for McCain at least...Or they are setting up the trap for Dems!

At a minimum, they want to slow this thing down until the 4:00 PM meeting with Bush after which, I anticipate McSame will come out and thank Obama for ANSWERING his call to come to Washington and delcare victory and claim credit for everything.

1. That's exactly what I saw. It seems that McCain will try and stick
his 2 cents in here no matter WHAT it does to the tentative agreement.

2. I think it is what it is...
McQuitter is holding the process up. The Dems are out ahead of this by telling the media, McQuitter is holding the process up. This is an EPIC FAIL.

14. It's the House republicans blocking the deal
The Senate has worked out a bi-partisan deal that everyone can live with. It's Boner and other House repukes running interference for McCain.

4. I'd prefer for McCain to get credit for this terrible bill.
What would be worse is if McCain doesn't vote for it and Obama does and McCain runs on his opposition.

11. I'm concerned about this as well.
This bill is going to be very unpopular. Obama should vote 'no'.

8. And AWOL Bush will officially declare 9/25 "The day John McCain saved the U.S.
from certain disaster".

the repukes are party first all the friggin time. this is nothing but posteuring by them.
they have no interest in helping the american people.. they are only trying to figure out a way to put the blame on democrats, preferrably Clinton and Obama, and simultaneously giving McPanic full and complete credit for saving the day.

BARF!!!!!

9. Politically, and realistically there are huge risks here.
There is no reason to believe anything said by the pugs in congress, the administration or, and especially, McLame. I don't have the answers, but I'll tell ya, I have a real funny feeling about this.

16. Or he could just vote against it and claim the populist throne.
He'll go in and start making demands that he knows no one is going to accept. He'll then vote against it and shout about how, as hard as he tried, it didn't do enough for the American people. White working class voters will go gaw-gaw over how he tried to save them from the big bad tax and spend liberals, especially Obama, who gave the hard earned wages of the American people to the bad rich people.

Then he will win the presidency, continue to deregulate, outsource all of the saps' jobs, and swim in a bathtub of money with the same people who caused this mess and who he claimed to be fighting against. He'll pull is cigar out of his mouth just long enough to shout "thanks, you whiney little suckers."
