It's a trap! Nobody can successfully run again Herbert Hoover!!!

I am not concerned that the pugs will get credit for trying to kill the credit-stability act.

(I have renamed it the "credit-stability" act because our candidate and leaders support it, and 'bail-out' is a terrible frame.)

Swing voters want action. All the time. Believe it or not, presidential elections are decided by people who honestly believe, "I don't care what they do. I just want them to do SOMETHING!"

If we cannot figure out how to run against Herbert Hoover then we really have no business even fielding candidates.

The politics , as it applies to swing voters, is simple:
"The nation is in crisis. YOU may lose your home, YOUR job, YOUR retirement, YOUR education. And the Republicans could only whine, "Leave run-away greed capitalism alone!!!" The Republicans tried to block the plan... tried do NOTHING. Democrats stepped up to the plate and DID SOMETHING to try to help America keep going."

6. Republicans want to have it both ways
1. They want to gain votes because of economy-based fear.

2. They then want to bash Democrats for doing something to try to fix it.

Oh - and could we at least lay off the Dem bashing until we find out just what was in that agreement?
