15. He called McCain on his bluff
No way in hell does McCain skip the debate now. Obama has made case that presidents must be able to multi-task. Also, there's a report out that he would be willing to have a town hall type of meeting for at least part of the debate if McCain isn't there. McCain can't afford to just cede that much publicity to Obama.

16. I kind of hope McCain cancels and we get the town hall. That would be almonst as fun...
as seeing Obama whip McCain's arse tomorrow night.

i would think it might take more than that to rattle the senator from illinois.
perhaps their next tactic will be for mccain to dress up in a klan outfit

13. I actually rattle fairly easily--I am never
going to be president. But just because some of us are worried--we shouldn't project that onto Obama. He is the leader of the party--it is right that he is a bit better than some of us at handling things.

5. It'll take a lot more than a repukagain to rattle Obama.
He's got his eye on the prize and will not be rattled with this childish playground ploy by Magoo.

8. IT's not Obama the McCain camp
is trying to rattle. IT's the American people. McCain is billing himself as Batman, the one who will swoop into DC and solve this crisis! People need to be very afraid if he is not allowed to do this.

THis is political theater at its highest level. McCain the hero will save the day. THat's what the spin will be. I can only hope that the American people aren't so stupid as to believe it.
