It was probably an innocent comment from David Schuster, but it might have gotten the message across |
|
On MSNBC Schuster just said before the commercial break "And we'll check on the status of those debates tomorrow night, to see if John McCain is satisfied with the progress on these negotiations..."
Sounds like he took the bait. It makes McCain sound like the leader in all of this, putting him at the center of the bipartisan talks, as if the deal turns on his commanding decision. it also lets him look like he's putting "country first" if he's not convinced that he's done enough to fix the problem to warrant showing up in Oxford.
At least that's my take on it.

I feel better! I thought Clinton was delivering a blow earlier when he stated that johnny john john seemed so eager for town meetings that he should be eager for the debate.
some days are just like that though. it's a perspective thing

My sarcasm meter must be broken.
"Skip it?" Ouch. This new rating system hurts.

13. You were probably on sarcasm overload when you heard it. |
|
That happens sometimes. And the last couple of days we've heard so much of it maybe you had gottan kind of immune.

11. Schuster just laughed in Brad Blakeman's face when they were |
|
discussing Letterman - Blakeman said McCain didn't lie to Dave, he had to rush back to DC. Schuster was laughing out loud and said McCain stayed in NY until this afternoon.
