That's one beef I have with the Obama campaign, where the hell is my car magnet I was supposed to get after I donated the night of his acceptance speech.

8. The greatest thing about this is that if Obama is tied\leading in NC, he won't lose VA. |

I would love to see my home state of NC go blue this year! And even if McStunt (LOL!) does carry NC, hopefully Obama's coattails will be long enough to help sweep Hagan into the Senate.
GOBAMA (and Hagan)!!!

14. He will not take North Carolina. That is just wishful thinking. |
|
There are too many racists there. I've written off the south. I live in Georgia and god it's depressing.................

17. Well, if nothing else it forces him to divert resources. |
|
So, hey, that's pretty cool. I mean, come on, North Carolina? Indiana? That these states are even remotely in play is a miracle.

18. Georgia is NOT North Carolina |
|
In fact, SOUTH Carolina is not NORTH Carolina. I live here too. I live in a small town where alcohol was illegal up until a vote this past July. HOWEVER, I strongly believe Obama will win NC. I have said here that I think he has a better chance of winning NC than of winning VA.
I have visited Georgia on a number of occasions and my family has a beach house in South Carolina... they are not the same as NC. NC is a very divided state that elects democratic Governors and features a CRAP load of colleges with 22 percent African American population statewide.
Obama will have the East coast in NC. That is where a large part of the African American Community is. He will have most of the center because of Charlotte, Raleigh, Wilmington, and Greensboro. All large cities with large universities. The only place he will need to struggle hard for is the West side of the state in the App mountains. We have a good university there, but a lot of blue collar workers. I think he should be having Hillary stump for him in that area.
