Did everyone see the DFA commercial talking about McCain's bouts with cancer.
They had medical doctors speaking about how deadly the cancer was and had close up pics of McCain bandaged after his bouts of melanoma.. it was on inbetween tweety.

3. I didn't like it.
Having had cancer doesn't obligate a person to share his medical records with the world, even if he's running for president.

Everyone already knows that if McCain-Palin wins, he may die which would make her president.

If they're uncomfortable with the idea of President Sarah Palin, then they should vote for Obama-Biden.

4. That's probably the point of the ad.
There are some hard-heads out there in la-la land who are so infatuated with Mooselini that they just don't get that the Office of the President is SERIOUS.

5. I understand your point, but remember the "uninformed voters,"
(think stupid people) who have probably never heard he was sick. They're out there. I made a point of talking to some of them today. Bet you didn't think there was a person on the planet who didn't know Mooseburger's last name, but I found 2.

7. Sorry, I disagree.
We do need to know if a candidate for the presidency is considered healthy enough to survive their term of office.
Else why bother to vote for a walking dead man?
"Having had cancer" doesn't enter in to it.

A successful, but unhealthy, candidate for senator or representative can be replaced.
But the vice-president automatically assumes the office of president.
But you already knew that.

8. I bet most people have no idea McCain has serious health problems.
I certainly haven't seen anybody discussing it.

Since McCain is to irresponsible to decline candidacy, it's up to the Dems to bring up the issue.

Liberal PACs Ready Attack Ad on McCain's Health
By Jim Rutenberg

Two liberal groups – one of them directed by a brother of the Democratic Party chairman Howard Dean – will begin running a graphic attack advertisement Thursday morning raising questions about Senator John McCain's health. Showing vivid and unflattering images of the fresh scar that appeared on Senator McCain's face immediately after his last operation for melanoma skin cancer eight years ago, the commercial ends with a screen headline that reads, "Why won't John McCain release his medical records?"....

Holy crap. I just saw this ad (I live in DC). The closeup on his cancer (facial) is not pretty.....

This will be useful in reminding folks that Palin could be your president one day!!!!

I am a two time cancer survivor (thyroid).

9. The way it is now, it will make us look mean-spirited. Guaranteed.
I agree that we should pressure him to release his medical records, for all the above stated reasons. No question.

What bothers me is this will make us look mean-spirited. I think we're shooting ourselves in the foot with the way this commercial is now.
