San Francisco Examiner endorses McCain/Palin |
|
I know that the Examiner is a shell of its former self but this is ridiculous. Talking about being out of touch with the citizens they serve. Do they think San Francisco is in Idaho? If you want to read it here is the link http://www.sfexaminer.com/opinion/The_Examiner_endorses_McCain-Palin.html

1. It is a laughing stock barely a newspaper.....more like an advertising insert! |

It is probably good that it endorsed McSame/Pain.
I won't even bother to read it, because I'm sure it will be ridiculous......like they are.
The only newspaper left in San Francisco is the S.F. Chronicle.

3. They can't give that away free. Don't worry about it. |
|
The only thing I don't understand about the examiner is why anyone still pays money to advertise in it. My street is awash with unopened copies.

I am just amazed that a newspaper in SF can endorse a republican ticket and expect any type of readership

7. So, it's basically the New York Post of the Blue West Coast? |

OTOH, if Anschutz or whatever the clown's name is wants to piss away his money, fine.

and the headlines are often pretty funny - the examiner has absolutely no redeeming qualities

14. No, the post has news in it, even if it's highly distorted. |
|
Literally, the Examiner is distributed free. It has 2 pages of local news and 3-4 pages of stuff bought from the wire services, and the rest is advertisements. Hardly anyone actually reads it.

4. True story: My cat "accidentally" used it as a litter box. |
|
Edited on Thu Sep-25-08 04:42 PM by AtomicKitten
I had placed it directly into the pile of recyclables which coincidentally is next to her litter box. She's old, missed, and the rest of history.
I agree with her commentary.
