CNN Radio - there was just a piece on Clay Aiken. :banghead: Thank you AGAIN. I will remember. I will remember. I will remember.

5. He just confirmed that the deal was almost complete before Walnuts got there
and the Senate Republicans need to figure out what it is that they want.

12. Actually it was House Repubs - Obama said Senate Repubs were pretty cooperative.
Edited on Thu Sep-25-08 05:33 PM by CakeGrrl
Obama also said:

1. He'll stay in Washington tonight and monitor the situation;

2. He has been in touch with Paulson once or sometimes twice a day over the phone and with other leaders, so he feels they can manage the situation AND continue to debate the issues that were a problem before the Wall St. crisis;

3. The debate should partly address these issues in addition to Foreign Policy because if we're not strong at home we can't be strong abroad;

4. He hopes to see McCain at the debate; said that the President should be able to multitask and handle difficult situations while they address the nation.

Good job! Throw down the gauntlet.

21. It's also a nice pushback on the RW talking point that Obama only does stuff to mug for the cameras
No, Republicans, YOUR nominee does that. He refuses to do ANYTHING without a camera present.

Unlike what the people who are doing the ACTUAL work that McCain is trying to take credit for. Seriously, I get why McCain was hated by the Republicans now.

7. Obama won't speculate what will happen tomorrow night
if McHoover doesn't show up for the debate.

But says again: We can do more than one thing at a time.

17. Exactly! He's almost too good to be true.
The guy you only get once in a generation, and you realize that if you let him slip away what an amazing loss it will be for our country and the world.

He makes me prouder every day.

13. hahahaha! - OBAMA said it was IMPORTANT TO HAVE THE DEBATE!

Obama says HE can stay on top of the financial situation!!! He can do more than ONE THING AT A TIME.

He is making Old man McCain out to be a cave man!! An old man who can only do one task at a time. Someone who can NOT multi-task.

It was a GOOD sound bite.
