Just heard this on Irish TV:
Palin had been scheduled to meet Bono to discuss his ONE campaign to tackle AIDS and Third World poverty but the meeting had to be conducted via a telephone conference call due to time pressures (What? Is Palin busy fixing the economic crisis?).
Asked after the conversation if Palin had an understanding of the AIDS issue, Bono said:
"I don't know, I honestly haven't a clue."
Hmm. That was probably her reply too when he raised the issue.
