Either Joe Scarborough is schizophrenic or even he figured out by close of business today that John McCain - once again - completely put his foot in it. Or maybe both.

Joe Scarborough on Morning Joe, today at 6 a.m.:

"It {returning to Washington} is the responsible thing to do. I’m not knocking Obama, but maybe this shows he has never really rolled up his sleeves in Washington, DC and worked with both sides of the party and negotiated and gone through all of the steps you go through to make a bill of this sort pass. I tell you, it is ugly work, it is long work and it’s not the sort of thing you can do, have a press conference and say, 'I’m getting on a jet and flying to Mississippi.' You go back {to Washington}, you fight, it’s back and forth until the deal is done. This is SO serious."

Joe Scarborough on Race to the White House today at 6 p.m.:

It was George Bush’s {problem} but now he {McCain} just made it his. I would have stayed out of town. He over-thought himself. He was too clever by half. Stay the hell out of Washington, DC while you’re bailing out Wall Street tycoons. It’s simple.

1. sometimes, Scarborough
flips his views within the span of Morning Joe, as if we wouldn't notice...it's so funny to see people comment on Morning Joe here in the mornings. I was finally able to stop myself from watching that trainwreck of a show, but I still like to see what is said. I post at another message board about Morning Joe, and it's so funny bc it's pretty much exactly like DUers...talking about how horrible Joe and Mika are, and asking themselves why they watch.

2. :-)
I feel like a masochist for watching. But I do like to hear what some of the guests have to say (when Joe lets them get a word in edgewise) and also to get a sense of what people are talking about. But it is so frustrating sometimes that I just have to turn it off.

6. I can't wait for the day
when a few more of these Pub-hacks begin to lose more than a little of their relevance.
