Alright Guys....is this fraud or just an innocent mistake.
I was hanging out with a friend last night. He is going through his mail, and he received something that concerns me greatly.

The Republican Party of Florida sent an anti-Obama advertisement to a resident of Texas. It was a disgusting ad that said something along the lines of "The Democrats can't be trusted with your money." It also had a piggy bank sans lipstick.

Open the tri-fold "postcard" completely, and enclosed is an pre-filled application for an absentee ballot. All you have to do is mail it.

Problem is, my friend has never been a resident of Florida. The middle name was different too. So if my friend mailed in that application and received an absentee ballot, the poor person in Florida who shares the same first and last name would be disenfranchised, and my friend would be able to vote twice. He wouldn't do that, however.

Was this just an innocent mistake or do ya'll think this is more widespread?

8. I have access to voter files for the entire state of Florida.
They are public record here.

Please send me an private message with your person's first, middle and last name and I can try to locate that person.

Are you SURE your friend never lived here ever?

Are you SURE the story is true?

Did the mailer have a Texas address on it or a Florida address?

Doug D.
Orlando, FL

9. It does sound like more Republican attempts to disenfranchise Democrats.
They'll take the returned documents and use that list to challenge voters at the polls. AHA. You're registered twice !! Which one is really you?

And just doing the challenge takes time and slows things down. That's one kind of Republican method of voter disenfranchisement. Slow down the process to create the long lines that will discourage people from voting.
