Honestly. I'm in a state of shock over this. McCain pulls lie after lie out of his "heroic" ass. Fine. McCain wants to feign shock and outrage at every turn. Fine. McCain wants to smear a good man's record. FINE! That is all part of politics. But this last week McCain has pulled what is without a doubt the craziest stunt in the history of politics.

This bat-shit insane megalomaniac has, for all intents and purposes, taken this ENTIRE COUNTRY hostage! He is playing with all of our livelihoods in a desperate grab for power and it is the vilest thing I have ever witnessed.

The craziest part is, there are actually people in this country, who AREN'T calling him out on it? What crazy ass alternate universe did I wake up in where someone can pull something THIS NUTS and still be seen in a good light? Why isn't EVERY REPORTER on the PLANET not calling this lunatic out on this? This bullshit is seriously scary and we CAN NOT have someone this desperate anywhere NEAR the white house!!!

1. Strange parallel...
Edited on Thu Sep-25-08 06:42 PM by Blue_In_AK
They started out by taking the state of Alaska hostage over the Monegan investigation, and now they've expanded out to the whole country. Isn't that special?

2. I know--it seems hard to believe that his campaign isn't over today.
Imagine if Obama suddenly bailed on the debates. It would be over.

3. some reporters are bragging about how they've seen him shoot craps or even gambled with him
and how this is "just McSame being McSame". I don't want a fool gambling in the white house with my life and the life of my kids. we've had 8 years of a fool, we don't need another 4.

shame on these "reporters". They can all kiss my rear end.

5. Welcome to Bush's America.
It's a travesty that anyone is allowed to get away with this type of crap, but they have enabled Bush for so long that a lot of them forgot what a journalist DOES.

Our media sucks.

involves identify facts and contradicting obvious lies.

9. did you not see the 2000 election?
Nothing going on now is a sicker, sadder mockery of the democratic process than what happened then -- and, to an only slightly smaller extent, 2004. McCain's antics are laughable and potentially harmful (depending on where you stand on this whole bailout thing) but nothing like the outright theft of the presidency and massive voter suppression. In my opinion.

14. It all stems from the crazy idea the MSM has developed
that they have to appear to be neutral on everything. In their minds, they have to portray both candidates as even. That sets up the system to be taken advantage of by the unscrupulous lying candidate like John McCain. And Rove knows how to work that system. That system is foreign to Obama and he has refused to use it for his advantage.

The truth is, if Hitler were alive today, saying what he said in the mid-30's, this MSM we have would find a way to play it down the middle on him, would never call him out.

Bush knew how to work that system. He knew he could say anything, truthful or not, and not be challenged.

15. McCain is higher on my shitlist than I thought it could go
He just mocks America, The People, and the concept of democracy.

The American People cannot be so stupid to not be raging with fury over McCain's ridiculous stunts. McCain thinks America is joke. What a dishonorable and disgusting sack of putrid garbage this fool is!

16. I know the feeling . . . just around the corner from me is a yard filled with . . .
signs for McCain and other Repugs . . . every time I drive by I shudder, and wonder if the owner has enough smarts to wipe himself . . .

with the nation and the planet going through some pretty scary times, that this race isn't a runaway makes me want to hurl . . . anyone who thinks that McCain and Palin are the answer are serious morans . . .
