McCain/ Boehner Plan: More Supply Side Laissez Faire Bullshit
Hardball reported that Boehner pulled a plan out at the meeting with Bush proposing that they bailout Wall Street by attracting private investment rather than using taxpayer money. How do they propose to attract the necessary hundreds of billions?

Lower corporate tax rates
Eliminate regulations
Reduce accounting requirements

That sounds like a sure fire plan for success doesn't it folks? :eyes:

7. Seriously. They are addicted to tax cuts for the wealthy and deregulation.
They need an intervention.

10. I missed the announcement
that today is opposite day. That sounds to me like the opposite of what we need to do.

I don't care if they get private money to take over the failing companies, but I'm shocked that anyone thinks they can sell those ideas to the American public.
