5. very effectively campaigning for the ticket and answering questions from voters and the media
He's been in PA and OH and VA. Yesterday he gave a very good speech on foreign policy.

7. Very moving moment today.
He choked up big time in Pennsylvania remembering his sons getting footballs from a Steelers player in 1972 when they were hospitalized after the accident that killed his wife and daughter. Video posted elsewhere here.
