I am REALLY looking forward to the VP debate next Thursday. Sorry, but ... |
|
Palin is a fucking bonehead. There is NO WAY the McSame camp can prepare her enough to pass that test.
I normally really hate to see someone make a total ass of themselves, especially publicly. But sometimes, stupid is as stupid does, and they bring it upon themselves.
Christ, there is no contest with her against Biden, it will be like shooting fish in a barrel. I could take her on myself and win.

I doubt the VP debate will be structured to allow the type of dialog we saw last night.
But if so, she's going to implode.
Biden's biggest challenge will be to avoid the incredulous looks Kerry had when Bush had his mental lockup, wordless for how long?

4. Oh, I truly do understand that feeling of disillusionment that I sense from you. |
|
But I don't think any moderator could dumb it down enough to reach her level. Honestly.
She may baffle with bullshit, which is all it takes for die hard freepers to give her a free pass for otherwise being totally ignorant and uninformed. But that is not going to resonate with most voters.
Trust me, she wouldn't be able to give a clear answer on garbage collection or fixing pot holes.
Let's talk again after that debate. :)

At least we don't have to hear her say Churly anymore. I know that some worry that Joe will get windy during the debate. I have a feeling that he will be fine. He will have plenty of time to talk after Palin uses up her allotted time in about 15 seconds. It would be so funny for the mod to say "Sarah, if you have nothing relevant to say, could you please yield all of the questions to Joe? At least he knows what the hell is going on". I know, I'm dreaming.
Is it going to be cold in the Lou next Thursday? Maybe Sarah could wear her wolfskin hat and really offend people. Bitch.
Thursday is going to be party time!!!!

3. The beauty of that debate is . . . |
|
Going to be that Joe Biden gives off warm, sweet pea vibes. Joe will just be Joe - he'll be respectful to her because LIKE Obama - it's very obvious that he likes women.
She on the other hand is a harsh, castrating woman.
I think aside from Joe's beautiful mind - she's going to come off petty, mean, childish, and well - desperate.

5. You forgot she is unqualified and uninformed. |

I am not at all worried about the VP debate.
Like shootin' fish in a barrel.

9. Let's talk again next Thursday after the debate. |
|
:)
I honestly don't think she could win a debate about fixing pot holes. And, with Biden? C'mon!
I'd be more inclined to believe that McBushPoopInPants will announce a different VP candidate by then.

11. The story after that VP debate will be how "well" Palin did. Take it to the bank. |

10. I think the VP debate will be the nail in the coffin. Seriously. |
|
IF there is a debate. I would not be surprised if one of the kids - Trichinosis or whatever his name is - suddenly became ill and needed his mother. There will be a fast resignation (for the "good of the family") and Mittens will be on board to save the economic day. Wouldn't surprise me.

12. The only way she not come away from the debate is badly is if she doesn't open her mouth |

and since debating usually involves speaking...

16. Faux news shilling hard for Palin this morning, I know its Faux |
|
what do you expect. My husband was flipping through the channels and stumbled upon Fox's morning show with the idiot blonde and her two cohorts. They were laughing about how "Biden makes a gaffe a minute" and were betting dollars when he would make one in the debate. Stupid blonde mentioned the debunked rumors about how Hillary is going to join the ticket "any day". How dumb can they get? They are obviously scared that Palin is going to get slaughtered so they are trying to make Joe look bad. Not gonna work guys.

17. It's unfortunate for Biden and the voters |
|
that Biden will not be seen, heard or rated on his knowledge.
That pressure is Palin's alone.
I expect the after debate talk will go something like this:
"Did you see the look Biden gave Palin when she said...?"
"Biden didn't look at Palin when she said..."
"Biden's tone was __________________"
"Biden' body language displayed_________________"
"Biden clearly knows this stuff"
"How will women perceive Biden's treatment of Palin?"
Biden has to keep the focus on Palin. We want Obama to outshine McCain at debates. That's not what we want between Palin and Biden.
I was thinking about the tactics Palin might use. She obviously doesn't have knowledge and experience to promote herself or McCain. She knows very little about Biden and can't afford to attack him personally or professionally. I think she will try to attack and debate Obama through Biden, similar to her convention debut. The problem with that option is that Biden can easily step in with a quick, knowledgeable smackdown that refocuses the attention on all the reasons why Palin shouldn't be there.
Biden has an easy job - Respect the person but not the stupidity.
Personally, I find this VP Debate an insulting use of our first string.

18. Normally, I try to lower expectations about the debates |
|
but, it really is hard to do in this case. I'm so often a pessimist, too.
However, I do feel that she'll try to do something like what was speculated about on here a week or two back - she'll turn to Biden and say, "Senator, don't patronize me!"
