Will Palin have an ear piece at the debate?
OK, this post is sort of kidding. But remember how everyone suspected Bush had a receiver and ear piece in the 2004 debate? It just seems to me that the Republicans are going to try and figure out a way to avoid disaster next Thursday. If McCain is wearing a jacket at the debate, I'm going to be suspicious. :-)

2. I think it would totally screw up her mind. It would be a damned
big mistake.

5. Totally bad idea. There is no way that she would be able to handle that.
If they got busted it would be completely over for them.

12. Remember, she used to be on TV in the news department, so she's very familiar
with how to use an earpiece.

I think she'd make a much better impression on those who are inclined to vote for her is she had the whole Borg head setup.

9. It would be PERFECT if SNL did a skit with Tina Fey debating as Pailure
and having a malfunction with her earpiece. She could stumble and destroy the point she was trying to make, and the scene could end with her totally freaking out because of a signal scrambler being set off and causing a high-pitch sound in her ear. She could rip the thing out and just run off stage. Not sure SNL would have the balls to push that concept, although I think it would be an enormous hit and without a doubt force the issue onto the national stage.

I'd love to see it in real life, but I don't think there's a chance of it happening. I find it hard to imagine that she would even be able to remotely handle the concept of listening and repeating to thoughts that are not at all her own. Maybe we will be lucky enough though that camp pailure/mcliar will be forced into a last minute choice of wiring her as their last ditch effort. Classic would not even begin to describe the meltdown that we would witness.

One can hope.

11. Couldn't the signal be hacked?
No one even thought about Shrub being wired when he did it because that would be cheating. :sarcasm: but what if someone assumed it would happen this time, because they have done it to us before. Perhaps the signal could easily be jammed or tapped into if someone was listening for that sort of thing.

10. yes. but if there is a God, he will scramble the signal. and smoke`
will rise from her clothing. She tears them off. The audience gasps as the world realizes she's wired head to toe. Meanwhile, the voice of Schmidt Shit can be heard from one of the fried receivers screaming, "Oh fuck! We are screwed..."

15. There are a lot of us who have already written Gwen to let them know
that we want her checked. All of us will be watching, and I think, given that we have alerted on it, they would be remiss if they didn't check. We'll see...
