Photos..... Obama right before the Debate in the hallway

(on a small note I think this is the only time McCain looked at Obama)

3. Wonderful! Like a documentary.
Michelle looks so strong. The love and support between them is tangible.

4. Yeah, Michelle looks great!
I was just thinking not many women could get away wearing a fruit pattern on their dress, but Michelle makes it look fabulous. I predict a run on fruit-inspired clothing...

25. And dresses! Mark my word
that's the silly way fashion works. Especially if she becomes first lady.
Personally I love to wear dresses (rather than skirt with top- faster to put on in the morning!) but they seem to be out of fashion except for formal occasions. After Michelle, I think the stores and runways will be filled wirh dresses.

Or.... they already were and Michelle is just more fashion savvy than I am

8. One other time McCain looked at Obama
If you re-watch it you'll notice one time (when Obama used McCain's name somewhat loudly, "JOHN", before he directed a comment to McCain) McCain started to look at Obama out of reflex but then he quickly looked away and down as if cuaght off guard with his hand in a cookie jar.

13. I saw that
I have been wondering if this "don't look at him" was a strategy.

16. If it was deliberate then
his team must have seen something in the practice debates about the way he looked at Michael Steele that didn't play well to the camera. I doubt that they thought about the sulking look playing as poorly as it did.

I prefer, however, to think that it was more of a personality quirk of McCain's being forced to the surface by the circumstances.

21. They are a lovely couple.
I remember the night that he won the nomination back in St. Paul when they did the fist bump - I learned right there that you have to not only love your man but you have to support him. Its natural thought but you have to SHOW it so that your love one can FEEL it.

I would love to buy a book of photos, professional or from supporters like me that have been taken of the Obama/Biden campaign from this entire campaign season.

24. that would be fantastic.....
since he won the nomination...

I have been doing a collection of AP daily photos
that I put into Powerpoint as a memoir of this
extraordinary journey...it's been lots of fun...

and a sanity keeper during the ups and downs
of the campaign.
