FWIW - AOL online poll results inre Palin
What is your opinion of Sarah Palin?
Mostly Negative - 53%
Mostly Positive - 40%
Neutral - 7%
total votes - 161,414

How has your opinion of Palin changed in the last few weeks?
It has gotten worse - 53%
No change - 29%
It has gotten better - 18%
total votes - 156,247

Is Palin ready to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency?
No - 69%
Yes - 31%
total votes - 131,823

What do you think of the McCain campaign's strategy to limit Palin's interviews?
Bad idea - 59%
Good idea - 41%
total votes - 123,943

Biggest worry for the McCain camp is the results for the second question. After several weeks of getting to know her (as much as her limited appearences have allowed), fully 82% of people like her less or no change. That is a serious anchor on the ticket.

1. Third question got me
because to make up the 69% you have to include not only all the negative and neutral opinions, but 2% of those who have a positive opinion of Palin!

5. fourth question got me
limiting the interviews is a good idea if you are pro-McW
a bad idea if you care about the USA
so who knows what those answers mean

6. For Palin to have results like that on AOL of all places is terrible.
Shit, they've had electoral maps that were basically 100 percent against Obama before. It's totally filled with right wingers.

Bad news for them.
