What McCain and the Republicans have done to women by choosing Palin
John chose her because he got a 'surge' by looking at her, not for her brains, her experience, or her ideas.

He and his fellow old white men who run the GOP have essentially made certain that a female will not be chosen by the GOP for VP or President for decades to come because of the national farce Palin is, which has nothing to do with her being a "woman".

Many speculated this election was going to be a sure victory, even if close if Obama was the Dem. candidate, for the party out of power. And surely McCain knew he was more than likely going to lose. They have thrown everything at Obama, from insinuating he's going to personally sexually educate Kindergartners to him being 'exotic'. So, why not GIVE themselves a reason why they lost, a surefire whipping girl to fall back on when he loses, one that will make it unfairly an argument that the woman in this group of four candidates for the White House, is a total loser when it to being able to articulate a strong sense of what this country needs and how we're going to get there.

McCain has gotten his way - he will say he didn't get to choose Lieberman, and therefore was pushed into picking a woman to shake it up, and therefore can blame Palin for making him lose when it ultimately occurs in less than 40 days. You're a real honorable guy, John!

1. Don't worry, McCain himself will get all the blame if he loses
Because he "wasn't conservative enough". Just wait and watch.

2. ah, good point, the Evangelical-right and neocons will bash him for this and try and make it appear
that America would still prefer their views if McCain hadn't blown it...
