Reporter Sydney Schanberg wrote "The Killing Fields" which chronicled the tumultuous time when American military and journalists fled Vietnam as well as the expereinces of his translator/photographer Dith Pran. The non-fiction book won the Pulitzer prize, the awe-inspiring movie adaptation won many Motion Picture Academy awards. I mention this to jog memories about who Sydney Schanberg is and his credentials. A couple of days ago Mr. Schanberg addressed John McCain's record as a POW as well as Senator Mccain's adamant refusal to assist the families of Vietnam MIAs:
