Note to freepers: Do not project your insecurities on us by attempting to characterize popularity as fanaticism, it isn't our fault your candidate is boring.

11. Last week when our voter registration drive had a life size cut out of Obama
Edited on Sat Sep-27-08 09:59 PM by rainbow4321
in front of it...people were posing for pics with it left and right. It was at our city's hot air balloon festival so EVERYone had a camera on them. The diversity showed there, too. There were elderly Asians, middle aged Indians, white teenagers, 20-something Hispanics. You name a race/age, they were stopping to pose for pics. Pretty incredible to watch.

13. I was there today...and would have been right up there with them had there been room
We got there a bit late, and could not move through the crowd (large in spite of inclement weather) and could not get to a place to see Mr. Obama and Mr. Biden.
But we surely had our ears open and heard him speak. He was passionate, and he reminded me of MLK.
Even though I could not lay eyes on him, I am thrilled I went and took part in the crowd, the excitement and the HOPE.

15. Is there an unwritten rule
that whenever a porta-potty is mentioned, a reference to freepers must be included?
