Ok so I went to sleep after I came home from the rally. I am awake now so I can tell you what happened. I got there at 6:00am and I did not know where the line started so after waiting ten minutes I got the nerve to ask a staff member and got in the back. Since I arrived early the line was not very long. The people in front of me where a family of a woman her husband and their daughter. We talked every so often. When more people started coming stands started coming up to sell buttons and stuff and people were walking around trying to get people to buy merchandise I may have bought a button but the damn thing was $5. Around 8:00 staff passed out tickets to fill out thats when I found out umbrellas were not allowed because of security or something. so I had to put it down and hoped no one would find it.
So we were standing until 10:00. They had many metal detectors but it was almost chaos. I finally got in and walked to where he would speak. I was very close to the podium. So we stood and waited and my feet felt like they are going to break open and blood would fill my shoes. I was crowded and could hardly move. After what seemed forever the preacher came out and prayed and that was followed by the anthem and then someone who is like the lead volunteer. More waiting and people shoving to cut in front. Finally joe spoke and he was a little boring but that is ok. Then came the reason for coming Obama stood up and gave a marvelous speech and made me forget about my feet. I was so happy when it was over I tried to get back to where I put my umbrella (It took forever to leave as their were so many people). I was so happy nobody stole it and I came home and went to bed my feet still hurt but I would do it all again for Barack.
---------Other things that happened.
-----------Signs were not allowed but somehow the guy in front of me got one in and the staff came and tried to find out who had it. He hid it and the staff came back after he put it in the air I don't think they ever got it(Poor staff). Oh and what was I doing while standing there well I was staring at all the hot guys. One guy had on shorts and had a really nice butt. That was my day.

And haha, nice that you got to check out guys in shorts. I'm surrounded by too many guys who don't take care of themselves where I am so not so much eye candy for me until I move back to the city again. :(

4 hours of waiting is insane! I saw some photos of that rally, and it looked like a really fun crowd.
