Tina is, of course, great -- but I thought whatsherface who played Katie Couric was dead-on with her reaction to Palin's babbling. The blinking was hysterical.

15. Hilarious, but the bar for Sarah Palin is now on the floor.

Tina Fey really outdid herself as Palin this time, but I think it sets expectations for Palin so low now, that all the real Palin has to do is get out a well-formed sentence.

I've been watching her 2006 Alaskan Gubernatorial Debate, and she's not always as vacuous as she's come off in the few national interviews she's done. She was a former professional sportscaster and knows how to start her answers crisply and tell an anecdote well. My prediction is that she will easily beat expectations in the single VP debate she has. She won't be as smart as Biden, but at this point, she no longer has to be. She just has to defeat the media narrative of her as a bimbo.
