Latest Gallup Poll: Obama 49 McCain 44

According to the latest Gallup Poll.

Barack Obama leads John McCain, 49% to 44%, in the latest Gallup Poll Daily tracking update. This is one of Obama’s best showings since the Republican National Convention, and suggests he had some momentum going into Friday night’s debate.

This Poll was taking before the debates so Obama may be able to pick up a few more points after the post debate polls come out. I made a bet with a friend that Obama will be up by double digits by the end of next week so keep your fingers crossed.

since the majority believe he won the debate.

stronger for McCain on the weekends and then stronger for Barack during the week? If so, then Barack will probably be moving ahead quite a bit more once Monday, Tuesday, etc. come around.
