1. Internals look much better than a month ago.

Obama now leads by sixteen points among women but trails by six among men. Obama and McCain are essentially even among White Women, a constituency that George W. Bush won by eleven points four years ago. Obama is now supported by 13% of Republicans, McCain by 11% of Democrats. For most of the year, McCain enjoyed more crossover support than Obama.

Research Tracking poll has similar results. When the poll startet, Obama only hat the support of 78% Dems or so, they now have it at 87-10. He also does now better with independents than McCain(48-42).

Mc Cain Obama
NORTHEAST 30 61
SOUTH 54 39
MIDWEST 41 53
WEST 39 52

He is still losing the south big, but I think it's better for Obama that his lead in the other regions widens, because there are more winnable states for him.

2. What did Saturday's single-day numbers look like?
They must have been good for there to be no change.
