McCain on This Week - "You can say whatever you want".
That's McCain's stock answer whenever confronted with a lie.

"Sarah Palin seems to agree with Obama's strategy of hitting terrorists in Pakistan, what do you say about that?"

"People shouldn't be recording conversations."

"But it sounded like she agreed with Obama and disagreed with you."

"You can say whatever you want."

"So, what about your ad where you claimed that Freddie mac director was advising Obama, when both deny it?"

"It was in the Washington Post"

"But your own campaign chair has been taking money from Freddie Mac up to last month."

"You can say whatever you want."

I take it that's going to be the theme from here on out.

2. Projection yet again. Yes, McCain, you fucking liar. You CAN say anything you want but be prepared
to get called out as a liar. And hopefully someone will do it to his face before Election Day.

He hasn't recovered yet.

9. This is the kind of thing you say when you haven't got any real facts to
use in a debate... just replace "You can say whatever you want." with "Screw/F* you" or "go to hell".

He's just cocky/demented enough to think that he doesn't have to answer questions if he doesn't want to and still win. :eyes:

11. His excuse for lying: "Obama should have done the town halls". He's toast.

12. I guffawed several times in his interview.
When he said he did look at Obama during the debate (when there's photo evidence of the contrary).

When he made that statement about the town halls.

When he repeated the lies about the tax cuts.

When he refused to talk about the real impact of his health tax.

And several other times.
