Down on the Animal Farm: Rhonda Chriss Lokeman NAILS it!

Q. Crash keeps saying things to the effect "Stuff is all f-ed up and I was there . . . ." So WHY didn't he do anything THEN about everything that he tells us that he understands soooooooooo well now?

A. As Lokeman puts it: "If McCain is (FINALLY) pushing back now (against Ir-responsible 'free' markets) . . . it's because someone told him we were heading toward socialism, which as oponents of universal health care cautioned, is 'un-American'."

Orwell and Lokeman NAIL it when she observes We ARE all "Equal" and some are INDEED more "Equal" than others. And I say what has the two political parties running into each others arms, with all of the CROSSOVERS for the Obama candidacy, is FEAR of the whiff of Populist based "Socialism" that is in the air. "Free" Market mystics know as well as anyone to "keep your friends close and your enemies closer."

Reich Wing Extremists and other Slaves of the Aristocracy will call it "Socialism" but The Other "Animals" on the farm are beginning to wake up and realize that we are actually CAPITALISTS too: We want REAL Value in exchange for the REAL Value of our Lives/Labor/Talent/Time, not just arbitrary values manipulated by so-called "free" market players, subsidized on our backs. The value of paychecks and property are nothing but 0s and 1s in PRIVATE computers. Universal Health Care, Complete and Appropriate Education, SANE Military Budgets, these are REAL Values. Given what has happened to "us" and to our Childrens' future, any patriotic American will reject the real SOCIALISTIC shell game being run on our paychecks and property and demand REAL Value in exchange for REAL Value. That's Balance between the major areas of Budget Priorities; HealthCare; Education; and Protection for U.S. Jobs and Exports.

:grr: ENOUGH! BUSHIT!!! :grr:

2. I am in favor of the people who benefitted from the Republican policies being forced to pay for them
I would tax the hell out of them and find every other way to keep the middle classes from having to pay when we didn't benefit from this crap.

3. Yes, too bad they won't pay anything NEAR what they profitted!! Obama's tax position is actually a
COMPROMISE on this issue.

4. P.S. "didn't benefit" . . . S**T! I LOST a pile out of my IRAs from this crap.

THAT started right after Bush was inaugurated the first time and it's been repeated a few times over again since then, with the most noticeable instance being the Fannie/Freddie Bailout.

I don't mind so much not-benefitting; what pisses me off is LOSING WHAT I "HAD".

7. Even better, patrice!
KUDOS!

"Crash" mcsame.

Sure fits, especially after this last week. He was careening around the Capitol Building like some sort of frenzied pinball.
