Several that walked by her blew kisses to her. Most ignored her.

24. HaHa. As the long, long line snaked into Mile High for the acceptance

speech, there were a bunch of those wackos with bullhorns blaring that we were all going to hell for condoning homosexuality. And every time this one guy shouted that we were going to hell, we all cheered. It was very moving and exciting to be in a group of tens of thousands of people of all stripes, supporting our LGBT brothers and sisters.

26. Last year there were 8,000 or so in attendance and

160 local vendor tables (giving out political info, selling t-shirts and jewelry, food, books, music--and local accepting churches, even dog grooming services, attorneys, realtors, etc.). Speakers, live music, the whole deal. An all day event.

It is held on a portion of Duke's beautiful campus.

This year was an even bigger crowd I think.

and even sang as part of the Gay Men's Chorus. Some of my students followed me there plus I ran into another one, so it was a pretty cool day. Too bad you didn't get speedoman, he was Hot.
