It's an accepted fact that ALL young political aspirants have a seasoned sponsor who took them under his or her wing. Who did this for Palin several years ago? I know that she attended Gingrich's GOPAC, but who steered her in that direction and shepherded her along? I know that the narrative is that "she was a PTA mom who took on the big boys", but that is just Disney movie nonsense. It doesn't appear that she was even a member of the Campus Republicans at any of those many schools she attended during all those years it took her to earn a bachelor's degree in communications. She is indeed an idiot, but she is also an enigma. Does anyone have any information?
thanks, mitchum

You're right; it doesn't say much. I haven't been able to find anything at all about her grooming before her rise through Alaskan politics.

in 96 prior to her running for mayor the position was always about a manger position. Im going to work on new sewers, were going to upgrade superstructure and so on. When she ran it was about religion and abortion and other ideology such as Old boy politics and she was running against her friend and mentor.
She has a history of cozying up to people she can use and then whistle blowing selectively about their weaknesses when shes though with them.

3. Reportedly, Bill Kristol pushed her for the national scene. |
|
So that means the neo-cons were grooming her.

5. I think it was that Stein fellow in Wasilla, who was the mayor, who got her interested and |
|
shepherded her to a position on the City Council.
Then she turned on him, showed her fangs and claws, and ripped Stein up when he ran for another term as mayor, saying things like Wasilla would have its "first Christian mayor"........she implied without really saying that Stein was Jewish (which he isn't, he's Lutheran I think).
This woman is vicious.
