10. Oh my - I thought Tina Fey was trying to make Palin sound worse than she really was - but
she was spot on.

That is scary.

11. Take away the "happy meal" the pretty much say the same thing
Except Tina Fey is doing comedy and doing satire BUT with direct quotes! Holy shit! I was going to use a ROFL smilie here but I am too scared of the fact that this woman has a chance to be the VP of a 72-year-old man who does not look so good healthwise.

13. Throw Gilda into the mix...
"Oh, Taaaaahhhd!" Gilda had the look and the voice down pat! When McCain/Palin lose, maybe Sarah can get a job on SNL playing Lisa Loopner.

15. OMG!
I've been saying all day that Tina Fey was more coherent than Palin in that interview, but I didn't actually realize that it was almost identical in content.

Wow!

All the more reason to annihilate Palin in the debates, and under no circumstances allow the cancellation of debates.

18. Oh. My. God.
Palin actually SAID ALL OF THAT? When Fey was doing her skit last night, I thought she was just pulling it out of her ass, not COPYING PALIN ALMOST WORD FOR WORD.

Jesus.

Palin's version was funnier. She does an "OH" and has this "light bulb finally came on" look on her face. Watch the link from CNN that is in my post above yours. Hilarious.

20. I said to my husband that she was quoting Palin basically word for word
and that's why it was SO fucking funny! LOL I really hope that more people actually got that. Point being that you simply couldn't make that kind of shit up.

23. I had no idea.
I figured it was all just a skit. I was working and unable to see the Couric interview live, so only got to catch a few snippets on TV, and they usually were just showing the part where she talked about Russia.

I'm astounded that she really actually said most of that, and SNL just copied it almost word for word.

I'm a sympathetic person, so I almost feel sorry for her.

24. No...
you cannot be sympathetic in this case. This is a woman who put her own best interest (political career) in front of what's best for America. She is NOT ready to be in Congress, never mind be one heartbeat away from the Presidency. It's outrageous.

27. I know.
But I still feel bad. I know she's done a lot of bad things, and when she joined the ticket, she didn't mind tearing into Obama/Biden.

But still, it's kinda sad. She's in over her head.

25. Yes, and Katie Couric really did blink almost as much as Amy Poehler
The imitation was an exaggeration, but not much of one.

Just put up Tina's hair and have her read Palin's actual words in that obnoxious voice and it's comedy gold!
