Right now the repugs - rove and his henchmen included are plotting
at throwing a lot our way

- more lies
- attempts to steal votes in key states
- some unnamed October surprise
- more lies
- more lies
- attempts at getting the msm to lie for them
- creation of more panic
- attempts to stir up racial tensions

let's make no mistake. the gop has not given up, they are doing everything to mobilize all their evil and corrupt operatives to steal this election one way or the other.

we'll need to be vigilant, energetic and focused.

over a month to go still - a lifetime in politics.

not allow ourselves to consider him larger than life or an evil genius ever again. He's ancient history.

2. I think the rats are jumping from a sinking ship. Rove is going to disassociate
himself. They are going to regroup for 2012. They hate McCain. They will let him take the fall.

3. You know what? I don't think it will be so bad.
The reason is: I don't think they care for McCain that much.
They may lie and stuff, but I bet they won't risk going to jail for the likes of McCain.
Really, the right-wing can't stand him.
It makes me laugh to think about it and the pickle the Republicans are in right now.

10. but is see the fucking msm making statements like
3 or 4% higher in the polls really means they're even - setting up for another election theft. in reality, a 3 to 4% difference is an electoral college landslide.

8. Rove is a talking head on Fox.
I doubt he has a lot of free time to work for McCain's faltering campaign. They probably call him for advice occasionally but I don't think he's an active member of their campaign.

Edited on Sun Sep-28-08 05:50 PM by anonymous171
Schmidt was apparently trained by Rove, which is why the McCain campaign is employing Rovian tactics. But as you can tell they aren't nearly as effective as they were in 2000 and in 2004.

13. it's getting there
actually, the great thing is that if we recognize the impending victory, any result other than that will be suspicious. We accepted Gore/Bush, even though we know the repugs stole the election.

this time we won't accept it. maybe that's the antidote to the rove poison.

14. Karl Rove's brand was destroyed with 2006.
He was unmasked as mortal.

I'm not saying we should not be vigilant, because we should. Voter fraud is an ever-present possibility.

But we cannot, and I repeat CANNOT, allow it to put a damper on our enthusiasm or our efforts. I don't give a shit if the GOP hires drunken clowns to beat and mug Democrats at the polls--we will go to the voting booth and we will do our damnedest to cast ballots for Barack Obama in November, come hell or high water. I will not sit and listen to someone tell me that I shouldn't fucking bother because "THE REPUBLICANS WILL JUST STEAL IT AGAIN GUYZ WHAT'S THE POINT." Fuck that and the horse it rode in on.

Karl Rove is good at what he does, but he is human, and he is flawed, and he can be outsmarted, and he can and WILL be beaten.

16. We need to fight like we are ten points down.
Take nothing for granted - the republicans will do anything, say anything, cheat, lie and steal every vote they think they can get their hands on. The election is still a long way off so we need to keep our heads in this battle until AFTER the election is over.

Confidence is great, but this thing is far from being over. The mud the pukes and team rove have slung thus far is going to look like cake frosting compared to what they will hurl at us in the coming weeks and final days of this election. The pukes will not go down without a bloody fight. They are worried, and fear is an amazing motivator. They will use their fear in any possible way to exploit this election and the electorate to their advantage.

Keep working as hard as you were during their convention and during the following days. Expect some down trends in the polls, this is not going to be easy, especially the final week or so.

Keep the end goal in mind. Work. Work. Work. Never, ever underestimate your enemy, especially in the days of their greatest desperation.

Perseverance is our key to success!!!

17. Republicans..
Edited on Sun Sep-28-08 05:27 PM by Poseidan
They've lost their minds completely. They've been ridiculous for ages, but they've reached new levels of mental incompetence. I saw this guy on a TV news thing, feeling so proud of himself for basically saying, "We should not play the blame game. Democrats are to blame for the economic problems. We need real solutions, bipartisan, not more blame game. Democrats are to blame for playing the blame game.". It was sheer stupidity, but he thought he accomplished something... like he scored a point for Team (R)idiculous.

There are many perfectly decent Republicans. A shame 5 million bad apples can spoil the whole bunch.

21. Democrats who volunteer "the legal distance" from the voting locales have XL plain black t-shirts
for people hit blindsided by being turned away from voting because of a political t-shirt (Obama or Obama/Biden). If we had several XL plain black t-shirts, these good people could just put them on top of the "political ad" shirts they are wearing - and go back in and VOTE.

29. That's not the only lie in Braveheart... but then - that's just a movie
This is real. It is a fact that the republicans will try to lie, cheat, and steal their way to a victory in this election.

We need to work our asses off and be prepared to go nose ot nose and toe to toe with these assholes if we want Barack to win.

Fight like we're ten points down -we can celebrate at the inauguration in January.
