AP Poll: Obama 48 (+4), McCain 41 (-7) |

McCain had a 4 point lead in this poll three weeks ago. Democrats have a 49-36 lead on the Generic congresional ballot question, up from a 46-41 lead last poll. http://surveys.ap.org/data/GfK/AP-GfK%20Poll%20100108%20Topline%20final2.pdf

going on in a few states...not New York, California, or Texas. So national polls may be less representative of what the tally will be.
