Land Slide Update
The other day I said this was shaping up to be a landslide. My update:

This is going to be a LAND FUCKING SLIDE!!!

On RCP, Obama has 259 EV's when Solid and Leaning are combined. That means McCain would have to win every single toss-up state (even Minnesota and New Hampshire) to win. Every single one.

As Dana Carvey used to say when playing Bush I, "not gonna happen."

1. Right now, I think Obama wins every swing state except IN and MO which I see lean McCain and tied.
Though that could change in a day or two.

7. We've seen Indiana and Missouri polls during the bounce
to me, McCain is up by 1-2 in Indiana, and Missouri is dead even. Polls showing Obama up and McCain up in the past week in Missouri, but all 1-2 points. I havent seen a poll with Obama leading in Indiana since the Selzer Poll.

3. Yeah - we've got all the big pop. states now - CA/NY/OH/FL/PA/IL - except TX.
I think they only way they're going to 'win' is with MASSIVE cheating, and if so, we need to have riots in the streets.

9. Its Looks to Me Like It Says
McCain 265
Obama 273

Same as last week. But that's giving McCain OH, FL, NV, VA, and NC.

10. Is my fantasy projection map getting closer?

Yes, I know that LA going (D) is a long shot, but there are a lot of pissed off people down there these days...

11. I'll trade you that LA for an NC /nt

If we get NC, this is a fundamental re-alignment.

13. I am sure you all will be happy
In our Election Projection Database, updated at NOON, here are the munched numbers:

18 Projection Sites updated today, when munched together:

Barack Obama: 302.5

John McCain: 185.3

This is significant for two reasons.

This is the first time since the database was created months ago that Obama has risen above 300 and also that McCain has fell below 200. Crappy polling for McCain has a tendancy to do that.

Here are the munched number when taking Projection sites that updated today and yesterday (34 total)

Barack Obama: 299.3

John McCain: 190.2

Again, Obama is a sliver away form 300, McCain has fallen under 200.

Check it out
