Will Palin be snarky or really snarky tonight?
It seems to be her major skill in speaking in public.

2. She always looks to me like you're running for prom queen.
She will be high-school-prom-queen snarky.

3. Unfortunately that plays into a major right wing demographic
There is a major faction on the right that harbors all sorts of hatred and pettiness that winds up despising the left and its progressive attitudes that denigrate them. They feel as though they are justified in their hatreds and positions. So when the left blasts them for such backwards positions they feel oppressed by society. So they thrill whenever someone takes a potshot at someone on the left and gets a dig in. This is why people like Limbaugh and Coulter have careers. Their job is to drive the left insane. The right thrills in it vicariously.

So if she goes ubersnarky it will play to many on the right. Even if it makes us on the left ill just to watch. That is exactly what they want. Us to feel the discomfort they feel.

7. I'm afraid you are spot on.
Their base is the base that loves Limbaugh and Hannity, and believe that politics is nothing more than one-liners and unsubstantiated half truths.

But tonight should prove interesting at least.

5. She will be the jumbled mess of incoherance and nonsense that we've come to expect.
But this time it will be live and there will be no editing to help her poor misdirected ego tonight.

6. I hope so. I like to see her overplay her hand.

8. They have nothing left. She is going on the attack, and
I think it is going to come across badly. This is their tactic because she can not make a dignified case for why she should be the VP.
