You know, the MSM is actually debunking a lot of McCain bullcrap. It makes me wonder... |
|
Edited on Sun Oct-05-08 02:39 PM by LibraLiz1973
Do they realize that if McCain were to be elected that the first amendment would be the first thing to go?
And that more than half of them would no longer have jobs?
Of course, the excludes Faux news. They are so dumb, they don't even see the writing on the wall.
Edit: Another poster pointed out that i originally said second amendment so I fixed it.

10. Not really actually... |
|
Kerry's campaign never had the organization Obama has, nor did they ever have the momentum.
In '04, Bush didn't win the election. Kerry lost the election.

14. Kerry's campaign did not have the organization Obama has, that is true. |
|
But it did have momentum- mostly because of how bad Bush had already fucked up the country. The media DEFINITELY helped bring that victory to Bush's doorstep. Not that Kerry didn't do some dumb things, like not really fighting back.

There was a certain point after which you could feel the excitement just increasing and increasing until we were all talking Kerry in a landslide... Is that how it felt to you? Kind of like now, which is why I won't rest until the election is over.

-- what you said. But I also agree that the wind is blowing harder now in 2004. Kerry made a valiant effort in 2004, but the bottom line, even considering Kerry's strategic stumbles , is that 1/2 of our citizens weren't quite ready . To our country's discredit, too few people were awake, too few were ready for change in 2004; too many people were still confused and cowed by fear. And too much of the media were still cowed by fear (too many still are, but that's another story). Thank God, a majority of our fellow citizens have now emerged from their coma. And the media have caught on to the way that power is now flowing.

they tend to hit back
With Palin there can be no doubt, the media has been exploited and they have begun to hit back

tipping point where the BS is so apparent that not even Repub supporters can stomach it.
We're still a long way off from McCain/Palin being booed by their own supporters at a rally but hopefully the media audience will feel that way.

They believe they are part of the ruling class.
The reason they are going against Gramps is his stupid ignoring of them and keeping Palin from them, insulting them or making them irrelevant in various ways.

McCain inspires no confidence whatsoever in our financial markets. The Global financiers clearly understand that if the United States wants to remain viable, they had better elect someone that can, as soon as he takes the stage on November 4th, will actually make a difference in how America is perceived; confident and competent.
In the end it is all about self invested interest; but in this case, it just happens to work out for us too. A bent arc of justice, sorta speak.

that said that most of Wall St. thinks Obama will be better for the economy than McCain. If that's the case, then that's why the media is performing better this year than they did in'08, cuz in this country, money talks.
