New polling will be released tonight at 6:00 p.m. Eastern with statewide results from Colorado, Florida, Missouri, Ohio, and Virginia. Electoral College projections will be updated at that time. A total of 270 Electoral Votes are needed to win the White House (see 50-State Summary).

I sure hope he doesn't pour water all over the recent good poll numbers we have seen from Florida, Ohio and Virginia. Rasmussen tends to do that: after a pro-Obama poll comes out, Rasmussen always seems to chime in within a day or two with a pro-McCain poll from the same state.

1. I predict the CO and MO polls will be a little discouraging
And that we will like what we see from Ohio, FLA and VA.

2. I can't wait to see how the corporate media spins an Obama blowout.
The polls from formerly red states like VA and NC show Obama ahead or in a statistical dead heat. Even IN is in play! Chuckles Todd on MSNBC will seem very dejected tonight indeed.

3. Their monday polls are published in cooperation with Fox.
They always seem to favor McCain by some points. Obama is doing better in Rasmussen-only polls, when they poll one of the states again a few days later. It was the case in PA, FL, OH and VA two weeks ago.

4. Should be interesting... one more hour to see how in bed they really are with the GOP
if they don't show large movement we know they are tweaking them for the GOP - every poll out todays is negative by large numbers for McCain - I speculate soon the media will have to start telling the truth or risk showing extreme bias that will sink there ratings.
