8. Rachel's great, but her brains would be a little underused in that job.
I'd like to see Rachel in a policy position. I've forgotten her education credentials, etc. but she is so smart, etc. she could be very good in the Obama administration, somewhere.

13. I want to leave Rachel where she is
on Air America and MSNBC. Far more effective there.

2. I think she should be the press secretary, and Robert Gibbs should be communications director.

3. She'd be really good at it.
Chris Kofinis would be good, too. He does an excellent job when he's on KO.

16. Ok, Yes he's very good also.
But he's not affiliated with Obama's campaign, which means he does not have as good a shot as people in the campaign, I would assume.

4. I would approve
I recall her being an anchor/reporter in LA when I was a kid. Wonder how she evolved into a top aide. Being a media pro helps alot I imagine.

14. She's an award-winning reporter
She worked for several years in the L.A. television news scene. I believe she was on local L.A. station KNBC back in the 1980s.

19. Picture of Linda Douglas HERE!!

I had to look up the picture to know who it was and I agree. She is the sharpest Obama spokesperson I've seen on TV. She'd be a great press secretary. She does an amazing job, everytime.
