and that's why he's being a human being today? The polls keep getting worse, his unfavorable are climbing, now tonight the troopergate report. Maybe he wants to hang on to a little bit of his honor, or at least begin repairing it. Maybe salvage a couple of Senate seats? Maybe he's talking the angry mob down, preparing them to get behind Obama . . . I don't know, maybe I'm too trusting.

He's reading opinions from his life-long friends and fans calling him disgraceful and worse, and finally awoke to the fact that this will be his entire legacy. I don't think that he is as evil down deep as Bush or Rove, but this campaign was way too much for him

I also do not believe that Palin was his choice. She was the choice
of the right wing nuts. McCain got this nomination by making this horrible deal.
