What John McCain figured out today. |
|
If anything happens to Barack Obama in this campaign OR during Obama's Presidency, it's on John Sidney McCain's head. Even John McCain can see that he's quite likely to lose this election, and that this hate-and-fear mongering putsch of a campaign is likely to be at least blamed for any harm that comes to a man who has come to be respected and admired by more than half of this nation.
Today, John Sidney McCain started thinking about his "legacy."

2. I think he also figured out that most of his supporters are whacked out |
|
mentally ill troglodytes, and he is spending his last precious years on earth trying to get their votes. Now, that's gotta hurt.

3. McRacist's legacy is shit. |
|
As I said in another thread, there are some actions that cannot be undone and this is one of them. He stoked the flames of racial hatred just as Hitler did before him. There is a special place in the bowels of Hell reserved for the likes of him.

10. He didn't figure out jack shit |
|
2 things happened - one, it occurred to his lizard brain that if Obama confronted him over the Ayers at the debate thing he'd have to put up or shut up and he knew Obama was waiting with a lot of ammunition for a smackdown, and two, I think a lot of repuke senatorial and congressional candidates told him to STFU, that his fucked up campaign was destroying any chance THEY had of being elected.
Crediting him with any kind of thoughtful motive is giving him far too much credit.

Obama would be waiting for him, loaded for bear. He knows that O would destroy him if he attacked face-to-face. McShits is too much of a coward for that. Easy to be a big man bombing the shit out of innocent civilians, not so much when going mano a mano against an intellect like Obama's. He CHICkENED OUT!

18. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Obama had called him |
|
and given him a lecture on what's good for America and how he's got to fix this before it goes any further. McNasty has been inside his campaign bubble for too long and lost his perspective.
He's probably aware by now that Obama is the next President. If he wants to be able to show his face in the Senate again, he's got to stop making things worse for the GOP canididates.

McCain's demeanor says to me that he's saying these things, but he REALLY doesn't want to.

|
Edited on Sat Oct-11-08 12:19 AM by Neutralator
And McCain is an idiot for not knowing that.
He gave all theses racists a terrorist cover to hide but now he wants them to be naked. Not gonna happen.
He has lost his "legacy".

27. I wonder how that feels-- |
|
To realize that your share of the voters in this nation are the most ignorant and ill-informed percentage of the population. The bigots, racists, and the ones out on the fringe. And all the while you are really a moderate posing as a far-rightwinger. And your oppontent takes all the rest.
Oh and of course McNasty gets some of the elites at the top--the most greedy, unpatriotic ones.

When he had to answer those people who said they were afraid of Obama. He's realized all of a sudden where he is and what he has become and he knows theres not a damn thing he can do about it. He let Bush people run his campaign and take control of him. He's wishing he hadnt sold his soul about 7 years ago. When he finally wakes up for that brief moment and the angry mob turns on him. I love to imagine how his famous temper is behind the scenes of the campaign. I bet he slaps a lot of interns across the face.
