As I post this there is a movie shoot going on in Center City Philly which is involving multiple "FBI" black helicopters, many cement trucks and other vehicles. I was made to understand that it's a terrorism film with the usual effects, etc. Philly is supposed to be faux NYC.

Also, Obama and Palin (!) are going to be in town today for a variety of events.

Very creepy all the way around, if you ask me.

3. I subscribe to AlertPA and saw the text about the movie shoot

and when I saw the mention of the "FBI helicopters", all I could think about was "how bizarre"! :rofl: The text also said that there would be guns firing blanks during the shoot time... The shoot was supposed to be around 16th & Market from 3am - 5pm.

Fortunately, Obama is going to be at 3 of the 4 event locations that are at a minumum, 10 miles away from all of this. The final event at 52nd & Locust, would be roughly 5 miles away.

And I keep hoping that Mooselini doesn't bother to show up but if she did, she'd be down in South Philly somewhere.

In any event, there's also some kind of regatta going on along the Schulkyll (I saw the lane markers out in the river yesterday on my way home from work) and various walkathons (I noticed all the tents up along the Parkway and in front of the Art Museum and some banners about a Diabetes walkathon and AIDS walk). Just alot of things going on in the big city. :)
