Why isn't the media talking about the findings of the Troopergate investigation???
Is anyone really surprised? If this had been Joe Biden who had been found guilty of abuse of power, the election would be over. It would be talked about non-stop on the MSM.

Obama has to run against McCain, his supporters and the media.

2. We all knew this. The media actually do free advertising for mccain
by propagating the distortions and lies coming out of the mccain camp

Unfortunately, they don't see a need for equal time

which is why we have to fight even harder, and pay for ads to refute the lies

3. MSNBC is.
Edited on Sat Oct-11-08 10:11 AM by PearliePoo2
They are bringing it up every hour.
They have it on a loop, and have been discussing it with several different pundits all morning.

5. The media is scared to clamp down on the truth... because of the partisan implications
Edited on Sat Oct-11-08 10:03 AM by Essene
The Mccain camp was out of control this week. Republicans were openly jumping ship.

The Mccain camp is also spewing insane smears and derailing the national discussion as best they can.

The Palin finding flat out says she violated state ethics law, and NOBODY seems to know what to say about that.

It is saturday and everybody is taking a breather.

6. Well according to freepers it is because they are so librul.
Why would Palin's clear violation of Alaskan Ethics Laws be of any interest to the librul media?

7. Well, they keep telling us this morning that
this would be the top story if it were not overridden by that of the financial crisis. Now, aren't the markets closed today?

We need to push the Troopergate story. We've just been through 8 years of an administration in which power was systematically abused and with impunity.

11. If this was a Biden thing, the Republican front people would be swarming
the media with this and hammering it relentlessly -- like they did with Wright.

I think if the Dems raised a little hell about it, it would receive more coverage. We're letting it die, and need to put some effort into it.
It's almost as though it's been forgotten already, and last night we thought this was HUGE!

Frustrating and angering.

15. Yes, compare the Wright coverage with the LACK of coverage over Palin/Muthee/Jews for Jesus, etc....
I find it appalling... there is no "liberal bias". The bias is against the truth...

We all know that the media is skewed for the repubs as the media is owned by corporations who benefit from republican administrations.
The parallels to Germany as the Nazis were coming to power is striking.

19. I'm not so sure that the bias is against truth, as it is bias FOR the most
controversial, emotional stories which get people to tune in, reflect in the ratings, and let the news networks charge more for advertising time.

They're for-profit corporations. Whatever will get people involved and tuned in is what they'll focus on. Hate/fear (a la Wright) is always a good bet. Abuse of power doesn't trigger those same emotions and hot buttons.

So says gateley, like she knows what the hell she's talking about. :eyes:

So I should end this with IMO. :7

13. Not surprised a bit.
It'll get nowhere the coverage that Obama's "troubling" "connections" with Bill Ayers got.

The MSM's objective is to make Americans dumber.

"Panel: Palin did not act unlawful" (or something to that effect. Very misleading!) Should be "Panel: Palin abused power".

24. It just ran on CNN with video of the bimbo boarding a plane.
She looks like a stewardess when she's near a plane. Apologies to cabin crew reading this. But you have to admit, she's what the commercial casting firms look for in a sexy stewardess....I know that's old thinking.

I don't really want to be condescending to those who work hard for hours on end putting up with abusive piggy customers. There's alot of bad, childish, drunken behavior on airplanes.
