Have McCain ads just stopped airing?
Here in Western VA, we were drowning in a sea of McKlan ad buys right after the RNC. Now? I haven't seen a single one all week, while Obama sometimes has two or three ads per commercial break. Is anyone else experiencing this (glorious) reprieve from bullshit, or is it a localized effect?

I have to say, I'm pleased with how well Obama is spending his money.

7. In Asheville, the anti Obama ads just started this week, hope they are over
I just started to see those anti Obama fearmongering ads about Wednesday but right now I am listening to a great Obama ad about more tax relief under Obama and no pro McCain ads on news tonight so far, so I hope you are right. That would be wonderful to only have pro Obama ads again from now on

2. I wonder if McCain's written off VA and is trying to thread the needle elsewhere.

I'm not seeing any here in WA (even on national networks, that I've noticed), though we are starting to get Obama ads here in Washington (on national networks); not that he'd really need them, but it's always good to have them out - they were on McCain's psychotic healthcare plan.

6. Blowback from the negativity may also be a contributing factor (one can hope)

8. He's lost WV. They can't afford to run any extra ads.

10. I think I read where the RNC was..
taking down some of the more negative ads, and also putting it's money into down ticket races. I guess the whole opting for public financing has put a dent in the RNC coffers. No sense throwing good money after bad, although that is what they always do.
